Choc Mint Matcha Protein Oats
Cool, creamy, and packed with flavour, these Choc Mint Matcha Protein Oats are a refreshing twist on your everyday overnight oats. Infused with peppermint, a hint of matcha, and our Choc Mint Glow Shake powder, this breakfast is as energising as it is satisfying. Topped with a rich dark chocolate–Greek yogurt frosting and a sprinkle of cocoa nibs, it’s the perfect fusion of indulgence and nourishment to power your morning.
Ingredients (Makes 1 serve)
Oats:
½ cup oats
½ cup almond milk (unsweetened)
2 tsp chia seeds
1 scoop Collagen Co Choc Mint Glow Shakes
⅛ tsp peppermint extract
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp cocoa nibs or dark chocolate chips
Frosting:
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips (melted)
2 tbsp Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
Method:
In a bowl, combine oats, almond milk, chia seeds, protein powder, peppermint extract, matcha powder and maple syrup. Stir well until everything is mixed.
Refrigerate the oat mixture for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips and mix with Greek yogurt until smooth.
Remove the oats from the fridge and top with the chocolate-yoghurt frosting.
Sprinkle cocoa nibs or additional choc chips on top for added crunch.
Refrigerate overnight for the best texture and flavour.
