10 Questions with Mandy>
1. What led you to pursue a career in aesthetics?
From an early age, I found myself drawn to the worlds of dermatology, aesthetics, and design. I was fascinated by how science and artistry can come together to enhance human beauty. Pursuing a career as an RN injection specialist allowed me to combine these passions in the most meaningful way. Every day, I feel grateful to be in a profession where I can use both technical skill and creativity to help people feel like their most radiant selves.
2. What excites you most about regenerative medicine?
Regenerative aesthetics is truly the future—a shift toward treatments that stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal, rebuild, and refresh itself. One treatment I’m deeply passionate about is Sculptra, which utilizes poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable compound that gradually stimulates collagen production. Rather than offering immediate volume like traditional fillers, Sculptra works over time to rebuild the skin’s structural integrity from within. The results are refined, natural, and beautifully undetectable—exactly the kind of elevated enhancement that aligns with my philosophy of timeless beauty.
3. How would you describe your style as an injector?
My approach is thoughtful, intentional, and patient-centered. I pride myself on being meticulous—a true perfectionist—because when you’re entrusted with someone’s face, every detail matters. Consultations with me are thorough and honest. I don’t rush. I listen carefully to understand each patient’s goals and guide them with expertise and integrity toward the best, most natural results possible.
4. What’s one thing you think people should know before getting injectables?
One important thing to understand is that injectables, when thoughtfully and skillfully performed, are designed to subtly enhance your natural beauty, not drastically change it. The most beautiful results are often the ones no one can quite put their finger on; people should wonder what you’re doing to look so refreshed, not detect where you’ve had work done. It’s about honoring your unique features and helping you feel like the most vibrant, confident version of yourself.
5. What’s the most fulfilling part of your work as an injector?
The relationships I build with my patients are everything to me. Watching someone not just look refreshed but feel more confident and radiant is the ultimate reward. Helping patients achieve their goals while educating and empowering them along the way is truly fulfilling.
6. What do you enjoy most about Lake Oswego?
Lake Oswego has such a special place in my heart. I love living and practicing in a community that feels both vibrant and intimate. Serving the very place where I spend my daily life makes every patient interaction even more meaningful.
7. What does confidence mean to you, and how do you help patients find it?
Confidence, to me, is an internal state of grace—a feeling of alignment between who you are and how you present yourself to the world. Through aesthetic care, I aim to enhance the beauty that already exists within each patient, helping them to feel more empowered, authentic, and luminous in their everyday lives.
8. When you’re not seeing patients, how do you like to spend your time?
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me with my family—my true foundation. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for almost 20 years, and together we have two amazing kids. My daughter is 13 and thrives both on the sports fields and as a frequent customer at Sephora, and my son Hudson is 17, pursuing his dream of playing D1 football while also running a thriving pressure-washing business he founded two years ago. Watching them chase their dreams fills me with endless pride and inspiration.
9. Do you have a skincare favorite or tip you love to share?
One product I recommend again and again is the Anfisa An-Balm. It’s a luxurious, multipurpose treatment that I love wearing under my makeup for deep hydration, and I even lightly tap it over makeup to revive a dewy, radiant finish throughout the day. It’s a true glow-giver and a must-have in my skincare routine.
10. What’s something about you that might surprise people?
A fun fact: During college, I had the honor of cheering professionally for the NFL San Diego Chargers! It was an unforgettable experience that taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and joy—lessons that continue to shape my life and my approach to my work today.
